Odds & Jackpot Math

How Lottery Odds Work

Every valid play has the same jackpot chance. Stats organize your set. They do not tilt a fair drawing.

The Jackpot Number

Powerball jackpot odds are 1 in 292,201,338 — every 5-from-69 plus Powerball combination. Mega Millions jackpot odds on the current matrix are 1 in 290,472,336 — every 5-from-70 plus Mega Ball combination. Those figures come from counting the combinations, not from last month’s results.

What Does Not Change the Odds

Hot numbers, due numbers, Quick Picks, wheels, strategies, and AI explanations do not make a valid play more likely to win the jackpot. A wheel gives you more distinct plays from a pool you like — more chances in the sense of more tickets, not better mathematical odds per ticket.

What the Tools Are For

LotterrAI is a Playbook: organize the numbers you want, spread them across more combinations, save the set, and check it when official results post.
